About us

Kade and Rhea McDonald took over John Hewinson Canvas in April 2021, and in honouring the 34 years over which John Hewinson Canvas became established, as well as to make it their own, the McDonalds abbreviated the trading name to JHC.

Kade has worked within the industry for over 22 years, starting as an apprentice, and achieving his Tradesman qualification in 2003. In 2021 he became a Director. Rhea, also becoming a Director in 2021, has experience mainly been in the medical arena, as well as having expertise in Marketing and Administration.

I have been dealing with the JHC team for many years now. Over this time Kade and his team have manufactured a variety of industrial covers for my engineering company requirements. This includes trailer covers, a variety of machinery covers, boat and caravan covers. All the products have been made to a high standard and been done in a timely manner. I would highly recommend JHC for any canvas work and thank his team for their quality workmanship and solutions over the years.
